I began to train horses and riders in the United States in 1989. I competed in the eastern United States in Horse Eventing a three-phase competition that includes dressage, stadium jumping and cross-country. In 1994, I relocated to the Asheville area where I operated an equine boarding and training facility. I started practicing Pilates in 2004 due to a problem in my hip and lower back pain caused by riding accidents. In 2006 I pursued my certification as a Pilates Instructor at Pilates Certification Center in Raleigh, NC. I hope to share my knowledge with others including the equestrienne community in the surrounding area.
